All the volunteers were wearing fleece at 600am, that tells you something. I got a halfway descent warmup with a little running and a swim before the race started this time. The water was nice, probably warmer than the air temp. I felt much better on the swim, I felt more comfortable with getting enough air so I went faster. The bike was tough because I was cold, especially my feet. The course was my regular route but it didn’t help much. I could feel most of my feet about 2 miles into the run. Nice race overall, looking forward to focusing in on swimming and running over the winter.
